We have had a couple of cases recently where customers who have not had their caravans serviced by us have approached us to undertake warranty work under the manufacturers warranty.As a company we are always happy to help customers whether you purchased from us or not, the problem we have is, we have been caught out by processing warranty claims, issues and damp repairs as reported by other dealers on service and have in fact found those to be inaccurate resulting in delays and incorrect parts being ordered.

We also have found our workload in the aftercare workshops increasing partially due to our fantastic 93% satisfaction award from Practical caravan along with our UNIQUE money back satisfaction guarantee!! This has in some cases meant we have helped customers who do not use us for sales or servicing and left us in an awful position where our own customers are joining the back of the que, this cannot happen.
Our position now has to be that if your last service was completed by us regardless of where the caravan came from we are more than happy to undertake your warranty work for you, if the last service was not completed by us we will require you to have it serviced with us to enable accurate inspection and our own diagnosis before submitting a claim. This will need to continue throughout the caravans warranty life.
