Well it was inevitable – Holbrook Leisure which was owned and run by Haulage Contractor Rory J Holbrook has finally conceded defeat and will be closing their doors to the caravanning public from the End Of January. The business which opened at Snetterton in 2011, and then moved to Roudham in 2015 with the owner Rory J Holbrook starting his venture by calling all other dealers in the area promising that he would close them down within 3 years! – (what goes around ……… – Ed) – And that set the tone of the relationships he and his business would form both with the other dealers in Norfolk and most of the UK caravan manufacturers over the next 5 years.

The letter sent out to all customers (dated 1st January 2017) simply said that Holbrooks will no longer be a dealer or service agent and told customers to contact their new dealer to transfer outstanding warranty work. They paid no mention on what their used customers should do with regard to their used warranty claims with Holbrook Leisure.

Greentree’s Caravanstore are already a Bailey Service Centre so will be able to take on customers caravans which are currently under manufacturers warranty for a small Transfer Administration Fee. We can also service all new makes of caravan to Industry standards and will happily discuss taking over ongoing repair work customers may have.

Neil Greentree commented ” The Holbrook years were less than pleasant for everyone due to his approach to people and their problems and his ‘unethical stance to business’. The area can now continue being serviced by the established dealers who have earned their good reputation.”
